More Preschool Candid Shots

Here are some pictures of Caitlin at her extended care and preschool at Busy Mom's Preschool during the afternoon snack time. Caitlin has made lots of new friends. She's still working on her number 2 potty training at home. She really loves being around her little peers.

Trick or Treating at Happy Hallow

Caitie pie had a fun day hanging out and playing at Happy Hallow. It was even more fun and exciting that Caitlin to dress up as a fairy for the first time. We got to hang out with Tommy's parents, Uncle Bryan and Auntie Jamie. Tommy was an adorable cookie monster! Caitie got to hang out with Tommy and ride all the fun rides. Then Tommy and Caitie pie got to go around trick or treating at the park. The kidos got some healthy and yummy loots! We all had a blast and saw so many adorable costumes on little kids.

Akimi's 2nd Birthday Party

We went to my friend's daughter's 2nd birthday party two weekends ago. Caitlin had a great time playing at a wonderful outdoor park in Mipiltas. She got to finally meet Auntie Courtnay, Uncle John and birthday girl, Akimi! Caitlin had a blast entertaining other adults at our table and playing at the park area. Of course..... Caitlin loved the beautiful birthday cupcake! Happy 2nd Birthday to Akimi!!!

Busy Saturday

A busy Saturday for Mommy, I had lots of things to do. At least, it was fun and mostly relaxing chatting and being with other adults. Of course shopping for people and myself is always fun at my annual Crafty Fox Boutique. We hit Oktoberfest in Campbell and spent couple of hours with Elena and her family. Caitlin had fun being around other kids her age. Then off we all go to downtown San Francisco to run couple of errands. Afterward, we head to Chinatown to have dinner with Gung Gung and Po Po. Cay Cay had fun hanging and playing with Gung Gung. That's the busiest day I ever had. Whew...

Our Little Preschooler

Here are couple of our favorite shots of Caitlin as a 3 in half years old preschool student. She loves preschool! Caitlin has made lots of new friends like Matthew, Christina, Daniel and many more. She really hates getting pick up by us. If we let her, Caitlin will stay with Miss Teresa, Miss Andrea and/or Miss Lu all night and day. I think the adults need a rest from our energetic toddler! We are glad she loves school. Whew!!!

Busy Mom Preschool Fall 2011

Caitlin has been having lots of fun playing and learning from her two preschool teachers. She definitely enjoys the social part of preschool and extended care the most. She's been making lots of arts and crafts, singing, learning and writing. Here are few pictures that we have of Cay Cay with Miss Lu.

The Natural Pecking Order

So apparently nature takes its course in all places, and it starts early. I picked up Caitlin from preschool today, and she told me that she's not allowed to play "mommy." I asked her why, and she said that Christine gets to be the "mommy," and she has to be the "baby." So naturally I investigated more... Matthew, one of the big boys at preschool, always is designated "daddy" and of course the natural pecking order starts there. As the most eligible bachelor in preschool, the girls fall in line as nature so intends. Christine, a kindergartener, is the oldest, so unless she doesn't want to play, she gets to be the mommy. Iyanna, next oldest gets the second choice, and Caitlin, youngest of the non-infants plays the baby.

Natural? Perhaps. It sort of sounds like what the Nature Channel always talks about, but I didn't realize the social order and social standing occurred so early in life!

Well, at least she has the chance to move up in the social order... Poor Matthew is stuck being the daddy no matter what in this playground scenario.
