Hanging Out with Friends

Caitlin was able to enjoy time with Micah and Auntie Judy yesterday. Caitlin had a lot of fun playing with each other. Caitlin was able to share her toys with Micah. We had a nice lunch together at our place. For New Year's Eve, we got to hang out with Uncle Bryan, Auntie Jamie and Tommy for lunch at their place. We were able to exchange gifts with each other and catch up on things. Caitlin was playing with lots of Tommy's toys. Caitlin had a great time bonding with everyone. I got to hold and play with Baby Tommy.

Caitlin 2 Years Old Update

Caitlin went to her 2 year old doctor check up. She is almost 28 and a half pounds. She gained some weight and some height. Caitlin also got 2 shots, and she was a very good sport. We were quite impressed how quickly she recovered from the stings on her thighs. As everyone can tell from previous videos, she is quite talkative for her age and she is loud. Caitlin is learning to say "hi" to TaiPo, aka Great Grandma Cheung. It's just a cute video to share with everyone especially to TaiPo. We are thinking of you! =)

Caitlin's 1st Short Adventure with Her New Tricycle

Daddy and Mommy got Caitlin a tricycle for her 2nd Christmas. She has been yearning for one every time we head out to Target. We tried to avoid the tricycles section every time. Caitlin can go forward a little with her new tricycle on her own. One thing great about this tricycle is that an adult can guide and help her go forward and backward until Caitlin learns to pedal by herself.
Auntie Rica was guiding Caitlin around the living room, and then munchkin wanted Daddy to push her around, too.

Here is a video of Caitlin on the tricycle. =)

Christmas Weekend

We had a nice family Christmas day with TaiMa, MaMa, YeYe and Auntie Rica, who is back from San Diego. Caitlin had lots of attention from everyone, and Auntie Rica had her Cay Cay fix again. =) We had fun exchanging gifts and watching Caitlin opening her gifts. Of course, we took lots of videos and pictures of our family time together. It is always wonderful to celebrating Christmas with everyone there. We had yummy meals and watched great movies on YeYe's big screen. Additionally, Caitlin got to spend the night with YeYe and MaMa's without us, so we can have a night out of town just ourselves. We really appreciate it! Eugene and I had a lot of fun shopping a little, eating an awesome breakfast for my birthday, and watching the Sherlock Holmes movie today. It was the best gift I can have for my birthday, plus I get to spend some more time with loved ones in the evenings.

Caitlin 2nd Birthday Party

It's cake time! Happy Birthday Caitlin.

Caitlin is watching Kayla jiejie playing piano.

Kayla and Daddy are helping Caitlin opening gifts.

Micah is hanging out with the Birthday Girl!

Caitlin and Micah are playing with toys.

TaiMaMa and Caitlin are playing with the toy guitar before the guests come.

Eugene and I are so tired. He's still trying to put Caitlin to bed right now. She has such a busy and exciting day. She can't sleep right now. At the same time, we feel so blessed and thankful for all the assistance and preparation from Eugene's parents, YeYe and MaMa, for hosting the party again, and providing the birthday cake and most of the food. We are very grateful for all our close friends and first generation family members who were able to come to Caitlin's 2nd Birthday. It was a lot smaller group this time around, since we kept our guests list small. This will be Caitlin last big party from now on until grade school, when she wants to celebrate with her friends and classmates. I can't wait until Caitlin starts school. It was great seeing and catching up with everyone today. Now, Eugene and I are ready to really start our Christmas break. =)

The Very Berry Girl

This is was too adorable not to share with everyone. I guess this is Caitlin's way of getting into the Christmas spirit.

(Translation: I like the berries! I like the berries!
I like them, Mmmmmm. Berry Berry!)

Caitlin really liked my Christmas decoration that day. Enjoy!
