Kiran's 3rd Birthday Party

We were in So-Cal beginning of July for a week. Our first Saturday there, we were invited to Clarice and Ian's housewarming party/ Kiran's 3rd birthday party. All the adults had a good time catching up while the little ones were having a good time playing on the playground. Cay Cay's older cousins came later in the evening.

In The City With The Eyres

Hee.... I finally uploaded pictures from May when we hung out with Clarice and Ian in San Francisco, when they were visiting. Caitlin had a great time meeting and connecting with Eugene's cousin's family. We hung out at Fisherman Wharf, Pier 39 and in Nob Hill, at the Cable Car Museum. For me, it was nice seeing the city I grew up in, as a tourist........not a local. While Caitlin had an awesome time hanging out with Jackson and Kiran the most! The weather was perfect.

Oahu

Our June vacation to Oahu was Caitlin first time to Hawaii. She had a good time. Even though it was a short trip. It always nice to be on the island. We had lots of yummy local food in Waikiki. Caitlin loved the beach a lot! Daddy and I can't wait for our next trip to the Big Island by ourselves. =)

Potty Training Trials

It is our third day on potty training. Daddy and I are determined to stick with it. No one told us it could be this hard. I guess it does not help we have a very stubborn toddler in our hands. (We are not looking forward to the tween and teen years.) Everyone we know have such a easy potty training experience. I guess we did not have the potty training blessing. Cay Cay is finally willing to try; however, she still preferred to pee or poo in her diaper, pull-up or underwear. Sigh......Cay Cay finally got her first successful pee deposit! Daddy and I were so excited and happy for her first successful attempt. Unfortunately.....she urinated on the carpet behind the ottoman 5 minutes later. I am not going to mention the feces part. That is another sad story.....

Chopsticks

We were down in San Diego and we picked up a cool pair of trainer chopsticks for Caitlin. It took a couple tries, but she is getting pretty good at them! We tried to look for them up here in the Bay Area, but alas, it seems to be a SoCal Marukai/Daiso thing.

Fun at the Chiropractor

Caitlin is very good at many things, but one thing she is great at has always been finding ways to entertain herself. Last week, she decided that Hawaii would be a nice place to be during spring break... so she laid herself out under a light, on a nice beach mat, sunglasses and all.



Today at Dr. Mindy's office she made do with a large basket and a blanket.

Goofy girl? Yes. My girl? Yes.
