Caitlin 2nd Birthday Party
Eugene and I are so tired. He's still trying to put Caitlin to bed right now. She has such a busy and exciting day. She can't sleep right now. At the same time, we feel so blessed and thankful for all the assistance and preparation from Eugene's parents, YeYe and MaMa, for hosting the party again, and providing the birthday cake and most of the food. We are very grateful for all our close friends and first generation family members who were able to come to Caitlin's 2nd Birthday. It was a lot smaller group this time around, since we kept our guests list small. This will be Caitlin last big party from now on until grade school, when she wants to celebrate with her friends and classmates. I can't wait until Caitlin starts school. It was great seeing and catching up with everyone today. Now, Eugene and I are ready to really start our Christmas break. =)

Thanksgiving Day

It was nice to spend some time with Rica, TaiMa, Eugene's and my parents. Everyone got their Caitlin fix for the day. We had a yummy roast turkey that TaiMa bought for everyone to enjoy. MaMa and YeYe got food, dessert and drinks ready for dinner. It was nice to have Auntie Rica around. CayCay missed Gu Jie a lot. There were lots of left over. Caitlin was spreading her love and getting lots of attention.
It also time for a everyone to catch up and get nerdified, too. =)

Mad Hatter

Caitlin has a suddenly interest in wearing a bucket as a hat. Little toddlers have some amazing imaginations in their little noodles. Then again, I think I had the same fetish before too. Where is that picture of me wearing the pink basket on my head? Hee.....She looks so happy that I didn't bother telling Caitlin to take off her bucket hat. The next Mad Hatter... I guess. Enjoy the pictures!

Happy 23 Month Birthday!!
It never ceases to amaze me how fast time flies with Caitlin. Looking at her pictures always is a fascinating experience because her growth from month to month is amazing. Caitlin is 23 months as of today (11/21), and we got a chance to visit our friends Jeff and Amy in Dublin. My personal favorite thing about Dublin is eating at Fuddrucker's. They are one of a handful of places you can get unique "healthy" alternative meats for your hamburgers... buffalo, elk, ostrich, and the more common turkey. Personally I always recommend the buffalo, which has about a third of the fat of regular beef and it is high in Omega-3.
Caitlin on the other hand loves fries. Fries are a special treat in our family. Anna doesn't like me feeding Caitlin lots of fried or oily foods. No matter how much crying, tantrums, screaming, or whining, Caitlin rarely gets more than 2 or 3 fries. Today however was an exception... since it was her birthday, we gave her extra fries... and nacho cheese sauce to boot!

Nacho Cheese Goatee.... =)

After a good meal, Caitlin fell asleep in her stroller, while wearing her HUGE vest.

Halloween

I was hoping Caitlin can fit in the Sleeping Beauty costume, but she still can't fit a 2 toddler size yet. Caitlin had on her back up outfit. She was a cute, little kitten with me. Then Daddy wore a pig costume. Yesterday, she got her first trick or treat candy, even though she was only able to get one candy. Caitlin enjoyed that one lollipop a lot and was hyper the whole night. She enjoyed looking at other little and big kids with their wonderful Halloween costumes. We can't wait for next year to dress Cay Cay up again. =)
