Funny thing about kids is that almost anything in the world can be a fun and interesting toy... except for *actual* toys. Today, we got an air conditioner for those excessively hot summer days, and were testing it when Caitlin found it.
Insert "Chariots of Fire" theme song. =)

Caitlin's Favorite Thing To Do

Caitlin likes to do one thing. She loves banging on our keyboards. We are still contemplating if we should get her a kiddie computer. I know once we buy one for her, she will not use it. I feel that it is a waste of money. Caitlin has been enjoying watching youtube clips on Daddy's or my computer. Here are some pictures of her glued to the computer screen.

Afternoon with Auntie Gina

We had lunch this past week with Gina; therefore, Caitlin got a chance to spend an afternoon with Dai Yee aka Auntie Gina. We had lunch at Flames Restaurant, and then we went to Santana Row to play on the children playground equipment there. Caitlin had fun time sliding down the slides with Auntie Gina and Daddy. We went to Borders for little while and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream. I got to be mamarazzi as usual. =)

Baby & Toddler Summer Camp

Caitlin has been attending Baby & Toddler Summer Camp with MaMa D aka Diane Cooper. This is Caitlin second week at camp, and she loves it a lot! There are 2-5 junior high and/or upper grader girls as day camp helpers daily, depending on how many children are there that day. Caitlin loves cars, bubbles, trampoline and especially her water play. MaMa D is there to supervise. Caitie pie has a blast every time. =)

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
Caitlin's favorite thing at night (when it's dark enough... which is hard in the summer when the sun goes down at 9pm) is to look at the stars. Not the real stars mind you... the previous tenant of our place stuck a bunch of glow in the dark stars on the ceiling of her room. So after we read to her, say our prayers, and give her a hug and kiss, Caitlin points to the light switch, looks up, and says, "STAH!" When it's dark enough she can see hundreds of stars shining, and she goes to sleep.
Sometimes we sing "Twinkle, Twinkle" to her and the other day we heard her singing by herself:
Howa wonna wa wa wa
UP ah-ba ba ba ba ba
Translation:
How I wonder what you are,
Up above the world so high,
Ok well, maybe she only has a couple lines down, but she like to do hand motions for twinkling when she sings it... =)
