What's Mo Mo Chong?

Huh? What are you talking about?

Well, let's start from the beginning... Baby Caitlin was born 7 months ago. Pretty early on, Anna wanted to make a blog, similar to those of our family and friends. After months of procrastination, we finally decided to go ahead and jump in, since it's the "in-thing" to do when having a baby. Besides, it's nice to be able to show off Caitlin and not seem so snobby as to just constantly send out HUGE e-mails of pictures to everyone. =)

Then we ran into a problem... we needed a name for the blog. I didn't want our names in it, since the focus would be on Caitlin, but at the same time we didn't want Caitlin's name, in case we accidentally had another baby. ;)

So we had to think of something that would work for any number of babies or just in general. One of the books that Anna reads to Caitlin is
The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. For some odd reason, Anna has a copy of it in Chinese. Anna translated the Chinese and told me that the caterpillar is called mo mo chong (fuzzy fuzzy bug). In Pinyin it would be máo máo chóng. Caitlin's bed time sleeping buddy also happens to be a caterpillar.

So, what best to call our blog? Mo Mo Chong. Why not?

I actually wanted to make it Choong, but Anna said in Pinyin, it's Chong (with the accent above the 'o'), so we left it with one 'o', but no accent... gotta compromise somewhere. =)
