Chef Caitlin's Kitchen

Caitlin got a lovely chef apron and hat from Auntie Alison for her birthday. She loves it! Caitlin has been dragging mainly Daddy to be the customer or chef for these past 5 days. Finally, I got the honor to be the Chef Mommy today, and Caitlin wanted to be the customer. Here's some pictures of her playing around in her kitchen when she first got into cooking.

Terrible 3's

I have to say terrible 3's is worse than terrible 2's. I am still trying to see when this stage ends. I'm trying to enjoy the good girl versus the bad girl days. Sigh..... This past weekend our little trouble maker threw a lot of screaming fits. She refused to use her words. She is refusing to follow all our directions. We just take deep breaths and be consistent with our consequences. We talk to her more when Caitlin calms down. I was told it might last until she is 4 years old. I think it's time for Caitlin to head to preschool. In the mean time, we will be preschool hunting at the end of the month. I hope we find a good one with reasonable prices for full-time and part-time.

Apple Stealer

I came down from my shower. I found Caitlin hiding in her house fort and eating her apple. It turned out she stole her Granny Smith apple from Daddy. She had this mischievous laughs and grins the whole time. We sure are going to have our hands full in the future!

Boot Fetish

Boots have become Caitlin's new and latest fad in her clothing ensemble. She loves her new, light blue boots that I got her last weekend. Today she wants to wear her fuzzy, magenta boots. Cay Cay is all about the being princess or looking good. I think we will have to teach her how to dress nicely and shop wisely at the same time, or we will be in deep trouble with lack of funds in her teen years.

Die Hard Disney Fan!

Suddenly, Caitlin has taken up Tinkerbell. She loves the clothing and accessories to go with it. I'm quite surprise myself. Nope! Little munchkin has not abandoned her princess dolls at all. Caitlin loves ALL of princess things. She can name it all. I guess it does not help that she got a lot of princess clothing, accessories, dolls, etc for her birthday and Christmas.

Happy New Year 2011!

Here are our first 2011 moments during New Year's Day. I got my favorite Beard Papa Cream Puffs and cheesecake sticks to celebrate Daddy's birthday and the new year. Daddy loves cheesecakes generally, but Cay Cay and I love the strawberries the most! I did share my cream puffs with everyone. =) We wish everyone a healthy, joyous and exciting new year!
